After discovering a post Alan had written on his personal blog
about ASU, he was hired by their Technology Office to blog for the school. This site focuses on technology tips and lifehacks for college students.
While some content is specific to Arizona State University, Alan thinks this is a good read for anyone looking to satisfy their nerdy passions. Subscribe to the
site feed and spread the word.
Alan prefers Facebook for all his social networking needs. Myspace is too glittery for his taste. Additionally, the saturation of advertisements on Tom's site makes him all nervous and sweaty.
Alan finally caved in to the rising popularity of this nifty little service. He has been using it (in between outages) to promote the previously-mentioned Geek Stew. To avoid addiction and possible physical harm, he has three simple ground rules:
- Alerts to his phone stop after 6pm
- No tweeting on the toilet
- No tweeting while driving
