I'm an internet marketing consultant in Overland Park, Kansas. I grew up in Silicon Valley where I lived for 20 years and spent time working at start-ups in the 90's. I graduated from San Jose State University with a Management Information Systems degree, but I found my true passion when I landed in the search engine optimization industry. I remember when people asked me to spell the word G-O-O-G-L-E so they could write it on a cocktail napkin and at this time Yahoo! was the number one search engine on the Internet. I remember wondering what those strange links were in the footer of websites (SPAM). And then I found out what it all meant and that was it! I was hooked on SEO and have since moved into SEM and Social Media. I love emerging technologies and enjoy testing web 2.0 and 3.0 services. Yes, I just mentioned 3.0.
