Review of Celiac Disease

A Celiac Patient's View

As a diagnosed Celiac patient and Type II Diabetic, this article was of great interest to me.  It is the most complete discussion of all aspects of Celiac Disease I have seen anywhere. I recommend this knol to diabetics in particular, since the difficulties discerning whether symptoms are caused by Celiac Disease or Diabetes were unknown to me before I read this paper. 

I found several new avenues to explore in my own attempts to figure out what causes my symptoms. My digestive tract symptoms have never subsided in four years of strict dietary control. So, the many other possible causes, including Diabetes, are important information for me.

I'm glad this knol was written by a doctor from Yale University.  It's easy to find opinions and information about Celiac Disease on the net, but it is difficult to find authoritative and complete discussions. This is the best I've seen.
