According to Aryan civilization, Brahmin is the top most class in the cast system, one who provides education, law and practices Dharma in society. Those who have Brahmin as the classes are known as Brahmana or Brahmin, Brahmin are also called “Vipra” (inspired) or Dvij (born twice as human)

Aryan civilization established caste system or varnas, these varnas forms the basis of Dharma in Hinduism. Main role of Brahmin includes that of teacher, priest, and doctors. Main advisor of any Indian king used to be Brahmin; this was continued in British era as well. In ancient India few regions were ruled by Brahmin Kings.

Most of the Hindus believe that one is born into caste, although  this is not documented in the scriptures and holy text of the Hinduism, it was just in early 1000 BC when Brahmin started ruling their cast superior to others, later even though Brahmin children don’t exhibit the qualities of Brahmins, they continue reap the benefits of Brahmins.

According to Vedas, different people have different skills and qualifications, and their duties should be judged by their competency and not by birth status, So karma precedes the birthright.
