Nigel Fletcher is a successful landscape painter living and working in Oxfordshire near to the beautiful English Cotswolds. Painting has been a big part of his life for a long time and although having spent most of his career working in the commercial world as a designer and illustrator, he has always painted and exhibited. Since 2001 he has concentrated on painting alone and is now finding a considerable amount of success amongst art buyers and collectors.
"This year started off with an exhibition at the Lewis gallery in Rugby School and since then I have been working towards the Artweeks solo exhibition here in Sibford (see exhibitions) the weather hasnt been too kind to someone who likes to paint outdoors but I'm really pleased with the work, 30 new paintings will be on show. Following on from that I have been invited once again to show at the Gallery Upstairs in Henley in Arden, and later in August I have a week at Lower Slaughter village hall, see exhibitions for all dates and maps, so a busy Summer ahead!"
