Human Being: The Game Manual

Part One

You just found the manual that describes how to play the game of Human Being, which you know as "life."

Congratulations!

You have reached a high enough level in the game of Human Being to earn this manual. It is definitely not by chance that you came to find this page. The full manual - of which this is merely Part One - contains tips and tricks that will help you play the game. Some will be revealed in this entry; you will have to find others as you continue to play.

You already know everything that is in this manual. Unfortunately, as part of the game you forgot everything you knew and now you must struggle to remember as much as you can.

This process of forgetting is called “birth.” It launched your participation in this game and yet you don’t remember one single detail about it.

This game is trickier than you expected. It sounded simple when you choose to join the game, but yet you are still at the stage where the rules themselves escape you.

In fact, although this manual contains everything you need to speed your progression to the next stage, most players who receive it fail to understand and/or observe the simple tricks and tips it contains.

Why? Because part of the game is that you are given contradictory programming. To fresh your memory, in this game you get a body and a mind. Your mind has countless programs that help you survive, interact, explore and otherwise function. But to make the game especially challenging, some of these programs conflict with others.

For example, that is why you want to have a “ripped” body, and yet you eat too much desert and fail to exercise as often as you could.

Thus, may players simply refuse to believe that this manual is what it appears to be. No worries. Do with this what you may. But don’t say we didn’t warn you that those who ignore this manual tend to finish Human Life very far down in the results.

Don’t ignore this manual. It worked very hard to find you.

Tip #1: Be Playful

Although you forgot the rules of this game, at the very least you should be able to remember that this is a game. Don’t take it so seriously.

Fortunately, this is a highly sophisticated game and you can prove for yourself that the best course of action is to be playful.

Players who are playful enjoy many benefits, including:

    • They are slower to anger, which has innumerable benefits to your health and judgment.
    • They form closer relationships.
    • They remain open to new ideas; this leads them to all sorts of worthwhile discoveries
    • They follow their heart more often than their head, which is important because most of your contradictory programming is in your head, not your heart.

Players who fail to preserve a playful attitude often get frustrated, or sick. They end up going around in circles. They put their “lives” in safe little boxes, and they accumulate almost no points (more on this later) during the second half of their lives.

Look around. Find people who have a playful attitude. Judge for yourself how they are doing.

Tip #2: You Are Not Your Body

Human Being is what we call a highly immersive game. Players at the early and middle stages of the game believe that nothing exists but the game itself, and they don’t even know it is a game. This “life,” as they call it, is all that exists. Unless they believe in the afterlife; we don’t want to discuss that right now.

We can now reveal that this perception is untrue. You, the player, is separate from your body (when we say this, we also mean your mind.) Yes, it seems so real, but this is what makes the game so immersive.

The truth is that your body receives transmissions from the real you, who exists outside of the game. Think of these like broadcast television signals, or wireless phone signals. You can’t see them, but when connected to the right device they contain tons of information.

Ideas, for example, come from the real you, who we’ll call RU for short.

The really ticklish part is that players can only receive transmissions under certain conditions. The more cluttered your mind and out of shape your body, the harder time your body has perceiving the information RU sends.

We will explain later how to do a better job of receiving transmissions, but knowing that you are not your body can take a lot of pressure off of you. Dying is the end of the game, but not the end of “you.” Even when you sit alone in your room for an entire weekend, you are not alone.

In fact, RU is never alone.

RU is connected to everything and everyone.  RU has direct access to unlimited energy and extraordinary intelligence. The toughest challenge for RU, at the moment, is staying in touch with you. Why? Because you forgot how to listen to what RU tells you.

It’s time to start paying attention again.

Tip #3: Notice Vibrations

Everything in this game is made up of vibrating matter. Within small vibrating objects are smaller vibrating objects, and so forth.

The more time you spend being aware of vibrations, the more receptive your mind and body become to messages from the Real You.

Why? Well let’s just say that focusing on vibrations is like a pacifier for your brain. It quiets your conscious mind and makes it easier for you to perceive messages.

Once again, don’t take this manual’s word for anything – try focusing on vibrations and see for yourself.

There are many ways to do this. You can simply open your mouth and make a long, slow tone. If you try this approach, hold one note for a while and then shift up or down to a different tone. After a while, you will be drawn to certain tones.

You could also focus on vibrations made by a musical instrument, by waves crashing on a beach, or even those produced when you bang virtually any hard objects (a tabletop, stretched rope, etc.) The longer the object vibrates, the longer you will be able to receive messages.

 Tip #4: Breathe!

Take a deep breath – a really, really deep breath. Hold it for a moment, then let it out in a giant sigh.

How long has it been since you took a breath like this? Take more of them.

Your body works better when you breathe deeply. Your head stays clearer when you breathe deeply. And you will be calmer and more focused, too.

That will help you listen and learn from… you.

Part One is Almost Over Now...

This manual suggests that you adopt a few beliefs. This is not to assert that any of the following are literally true, but only to suggest that thinking in this way will benefit you:

    • You are not your body.

    • Your mind and body receives “transmissions” from the real you.

    • The real you has access to unlimited knowledge and energy.

    • The real you is connected to everything.

    • The clearer your mind and the healthier your body, the better your ability to receive, understand and act upon your transmissions.

Many believe that people have souls. Others believe in reincarnation. Some are simply convinced there is more to them than just this life.

Science struggles with these concepts, because they have a hard time proving any of them to be true.

And yet, instinctively we struggle with the idea that one minute you can be speaking intelligently and laughing with joy, and the next a car can run you over and you become a lifeless mess on the street.

Your instincts are right. It doesn’t work this way. When your body gets squashed, you lose it.. but you continue to exist, where you have always existed: everywhere.

We have no trouble believing in television, radio or wireless phones. Someone broadcasts a signal, which we cannot see, and we “receive” it using a device in our possession. In this manner, we can see and hear people who are actually thousands of miles away.

This, essentially, may be how the Real You communicates with your body and mind.

How this works doesn’t matter, except that it is all too easy to ignore your own transmissions. If your mind is cluttered or preoccupied, it doesn’t work very well as a receiver.

Likewise, if your body is out of shape, or your diet is poor, it can also cloud the transmissions.

More on this a bit later. Once again, congratulations on finding Part One of the manual of Human Being.
