I am going to embed a YouTube video inside of a knol.
- Go to youtube.com and find the video you are interested in.
- For my example, I'm going to include a video of guitarist Tommy Emmanual. A virtuoso guitarist who is also a darling of the YouTube crowd.
- To the right of the video, you'll see an area called 'Embed'. Highlight the code in the embod box and copy to the clipboard
- Come back over to the Knol that you are editing.
- Click on the HTML option in the toolbar. This takes you into a native HTML edit mode where you can enter HTML code directly. (It's on the far right with a pencil in front of it.
- Paste the youtube embedded code
- Click on the update button in the lower right hand corner. This will bring you back to the formatted Knol editor.
- Click on Save and then Publish
Voila!
Now if it were just that easy to play like Tommy.
I Don't Think So...
Every time I close this Knol, the video disappears. So far YouTube and Knols don't play so well together.
I would delete this Knol, but I don't have that knowledge yet
