Dr. Marcus in Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology, Electrophysiology Section at the University of California, San Francisco. As a full time cardiology faculty member at UCSF, Dr. Marcus performs electrophysiology studies; ablations of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT, and ventricular tachycardia; and implants pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization devices. He supervises and teaches fellows, residents, and medical students at UCSF. He also engages in clinical research into the causes of arrhtyhmias with a special emphasis on atrial fibrillation, with grant support provided by both the American Heart Association and the National Institutes of Health.
