Furthermore I am a volunteer for the Netherlands Red Cross. I am a licensed First Aider as well as coordinator for promotional activities for the Red Cross, a task aimed a recruiting new volunteers and members.
Also since the start of 2009 I am an Association Delegate for individual members at the Royal Dutch Walking Association (KNBLO-NL). This Association organises the International Long Distance Marches of Nijmegen (4 days, marching 50km a day) which I am about to walk and finish for the third time in 2009.
