Sharing holiday crafts ideas

Share your creativity with the world! Decorations, ornaments, cards, or whatever other crafts you  make, let everyone in on the fun this holiday season.

You can include pictures (or even videos) if you'd like. In return, we'll feature the best ideas on our homepage, as our holiday gift to you.

Finding holiday crafts ideas

If you're looking for some great craft ideas, you can browse other people's submissions here. Whether you're looking for something fun for your kids to do, a more unique way to celebrate, or you just want to save some money, we hope you'll find some great ideas.

Just don't forget that with Knol you can still participate in the conversation, even if you're reading and not writing.  Make sure to rate, comment on, and even edit the knols as you browse.  Your thoughts and opinions are an important part of how knowledge grows on Knol.

Selecting the best ideas

The best holiday crafts will be selected algorithmically -- this is Google ;-) -- but that doesn't mean you can't be involved.  Ratings, comments, and other measures of user opinion are an important part of how we rate content, so let us know how you feel and tell your friends to as well!

Once all the votes are in, the best crafts will be featured on our homepage from December 21st through the New Year, so make sure to come back and see the if your favorites are selected.

How about explaining the true spirit of Christmas, Hannuka and Id?

Dear Sir:
Could we add knols in the list of holiday craft knols, that describe the spirit of Christmas and the New Year? How about new year resolutions and tips on how best to spend the holidays? And especially knols on crafting the real self?

---

My response: Thank you for the interest, Sajid, but the purpose of the Holiday Crafts event is specifically and narrowly to write knols about arts and crafts for any or all of the holidays.

We will have an ongoing series of featured topics on the Knol home page, and we would appreciate if authors write specifically for just those topics.

What's happening? I can't find any holiday knols anymore?

The collection of Holiday knols is temporarily inaccessible. Thank you for your patience while my little elves are fixing the problem.
