Jeff Linder's Pan Massachusetts Challenge Page: Please consider supporting my 192 mile ride this summer to raise money for pediatric cancer research. I am again honored to be riding with Team Kermit. Steve, Ellen, Adam, and Jared Branfman, along with friends, formed Team Kermit after Jared was diagnosed with spinal and cranial tumors in 2003. Jared worked as a volunteer for the Pan Mass Challenge in 2004 and 2005 and was getting set to ride in 2006. Jared died September 27, 2005. He was 23 years old.

Kermit, one of Jared's favorite childhood characters, represents the ability people have to rise above the ordinary to achieve great results. Team Kermit is raising money for the Jared Branfman Sunflowers for Life Fund for Pediatric Brain and Spinal Cancer Research at the Jimmy Fund, which supports the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
