The Department of Veterans Affairs mails thousands upon thousands of pieces of mail every day. These documents are vital to the recipient and contain important instructions, explanations or other data that may have a major impact on the life of the veteran.
Most of the messages dispatched are boilerplate and the VA employee has a template to use as a guide. This requires only a few words or phrases being plugged in and the document is on its way.
Unfortunately for America's veterans, those few words or phrases are often rendered incomprehensible by an employee who is apparently right on the edge of illiteracy.
These are a few examples of the finest work the VA has to offer.
