In the world of marketing, many different methods have been applied to capture the attention of an audience. As the Internet grabs more and more marketing share away from traditional media, people are resorting to more unconventional approaches to marketing. The latest unconventional marketing trends include the use of paid videos or (viral videos), online contests, blogs, press releases and many more. The most famous unconventional marketing ploy that garnered huge national attention was executed for a film based on the animated TV series Aqua Teen Hunger Force (ATHF) on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim late-night programming block.
