You can customize the appearance of the list of knols that constitute your collection.

Setting component visibility

To get started, go to the "Settings" pane on your collection.

Tip: click on the image to see a larger version

You will find a link to it on the right hand side of your knol, adjacent to the "You have permission to manage this knol" icon.

Once there, look for the Collection Display section. You will be shown an example item and a list of options.

Use the checkboxes to turn on or off any feature you desire. Once you are finished click on the "Save" button.

Sorting

You can also change the default sorting method people will see when they visit your collection. (Visitors are always free to re-sort their own views of your collection.)

Set as default for future collections

Check this if you want collections you create in the future to also use these settings.

Adding a knol to a collection, needs a little ajustment in how it is done!

Adding a knol to a collection:
It would be helpful if you could add the "new knol" to the bottom of the collection, rather than to the top of the collection, this would save time re-editing the numbering of the important knols.
Also in time, you could make the numbering of the "author choise" selection a bit more time saving by moving it with the mouse, clicking & holding a knol then moving the knol in to it's new position.
