When you upload an image to a knol, the image is attached to that knol until it is manually removed. There is an upper limit on how much image data you can attach to each knol. If you reach that upper limit and need to upload new images, it will be necessary to delete unused or less-important images.
Use the Delete Images tab in the settings page to see all attached images and select those you wish to remove. You can select the images to remove by clicking on the images. When you are finished with selecting all images to be removed, click on Remove Selected Images button on the bottom to delete the images. If deleted images are still referenced in the knol content, they will be displayed as broken image links. To avoid these broken links in the latest revision, edit the content to remove references to the deleted images. Old revisions are not modifiable and may still refer to removed images.
