How to suggest an author

When you are signed in, you will see at the bottom of each page of Knol search results:
Know someone who knows something? Suggest an author
From this link you can invite one or more authors to write knols.  The standard email invitation text looks like this:
Subject: Sally Smith wants you to write a knol about "cloud computing".

Hello,

Sally Smith recommended you as a knol author. A knol is an authoritative article about a specific topic. Click on the following link and see how easy it is to share what you know with the world:

http://knol.google.com/k/knol/system/services/createKnol

You can edit the subject line and add text after the fixed introduction to personalize the invitation.

We encourage you to use this means to recommend people you respect and believe may write expert pages.  These authors may not understand just how much they know about something until you give them a vote of confidence.

How Knol may use this information

At some future time, we may display the number (but not the identities) of people that you have invited to join Knol.

If you have invited authors who create high quality knols, that reflects positively on your reputation within Knol.

Reposition 'Suggest an Author"

I have mentioned this elsewhere, but I think 'Suggest and Author' should be a bold button much like "Write an Knol" is, and placed in a highly visible part of the Knol Author's Home Page.

I wanted to try the 'suggest an author' recently and spent 10 minutes trying to figure out where it was. I finally found it at the bottom of one of the searchers.

The platform has now been developed to the point that most Knol authors that are comfortable here, want to invite others to see what we have and the potential of this site, but I think it needs a more prominent invitation button ... maybe just above the Bio, under the Knol Author's picture on their Home Page, would do it for me.

Commision

Hi!, A small commison (from ad-sense income) would of course increase the numbers. Could this be a good solution?
