The content area of this page is transcluded into the What's New panel of the home page. The Knol engineering team will update this whenever we deploy a new version of Knol, or have news or events to announce.
The "What's New" tab on the home page shows recently modified knols. That is only one way of slicing and dicing knols.
Some of the links in the References section of this page provide examples of several ways the Search Toolkit can search for new knols, for example, specialize searches such as "What's new in Hindi". You can develop your own "What's new" searches to track whatever you like within knol. Just compose the query using the Search Toolkit, and bookmark the results.
Yes I can bookmark the link but how come other people will know about my hindi knols. I am seeing that knols in other languages are showing their presence daily in '' what's new ''--- general section. My hindi knols used to appear at least once and were not showing when edited again but now they are not appearing even once while publishing them. Please do something as soon as possible. Thanks.
We need to get the product translated into Hindi, so that we get a Hindi home page with What's New and Most Discussed sections.
Going forward, we will be working toward having only knols of a given language showing up in the What's New page for that language. We will work to reduce the appearance of non-English knols in the English What's New page.
Hello, Please open '' what's new in hindi'' and you will find---no results found. Suppose I want to see '' man...मन'' then I have to transliterate it and then copy-paste it. What is the use of this link ? Hindi knols should also appear in what's new like Arabic and other languages.Where is the problem ?
The search ["What's new in hindi"] now finds this page: http://knol.google.com/k/knol/WhatsNew# which includes a link to this search, which shows Hindi knols edited in the last 24 hours:
... is very nice! i liked it for the first view, as well as the clean search results. What i still don't understand is, how and why pictures are enabled at the startpage of knol. The top featured knol doesn't show pictures regularly, some got one and some do not. Where has the picture to be if I want it to be shown when my knol is top featured?
If a document is a featured knol, we generally show the first image in the document that is above some minimum size. If there is no such image, then that part of the featured knol view is just blank.

Before we can launch a Hindi home page, with "What's New" in Hindi, we need to get the Knol interface translated into Hindi. See this link for how our users can help us translate the product:
http://knol.google.c
The search ["What's new in hindi"] now finds this page: http://knol.google.c
