SEARCH ENGINES
Search engines are the key to finding the best information. But most use automatic decision making algorithms, and people spend hours doing "search engine optomization" (SEO) to "beat the system." So choose carefully.
- SCOUR lets you earn money each time you search and by providing feedback. Your ratings and comments help improve search results and earn more money! Great search engine that should get better as user feedback is encorporated. I use this FIRST.
- Dogpile gives you the best search results from all the top search engines in one search. Dogpile was named top consumer search engine by J.D. Power & Associates for 2007, based on their consumer polls. I use this SECOND - after scour.
- Google has half the market share, so if you "google it" at least you'll get what others get. And maybe it's what you want
- But why not use www.goodsearch.com. You'll get a search powered by www.yahoo.com but Goodsearch donates to your favorite charity each time you search. (Shop online through www.goodshop.com and a portion of your purchase price goes to that same charity!)
- Mahalo features web searches developed by real people - so "Search Engine Optomization" schemes that fool most search engine algorithms won't give you misleading results. Get real answers here! Mahalo answers gets your question answered fast! Free - or leave a tip.
