I have been taking photographs for the last 28 years, with the majority being landscape in style. I use use Canon camera gear, currently the proud owner of a 5D, 400D and 20D converted to shoot Infra Red B/W only, but I am awaiting delivery of the new 5D MarkII.
I recently visited the place of my birth, which I left at the age of 7, and would recommend it to all. The UK is just so full of history, and living here in Australia, you just can't appreciate how old some things are, especially a place like Stone Henge, which is more than 4000 years old. I have written a book on Castles and Ruins of the UK, photographed in Infra-Red, and have two calendars, one of the Infra-Red castles, and one of waterfalls in Victoria.
I produce a calendar every year for the company that I own.
I teach photography part time at the LLINC Community Centre in Pakenham. I am currently the President of the Pakenham Camera Club, of which there are approximately 60 members.
