How is "knol" pronounced?

"nawl" vs "nohl"

What do you "hear" in your head when you read "knol"? How do you pronounce when (if?) you speak it out loud?

"nohl" vs "nawl"

"Knol" is a weird little word, wholly invented for this new service. How is it pronounced?

When I first read it, I "heard" it in my head as "nohl"--long O, like "spoke" or "note". But, looking at the source of the word, that's probably wrong.

One of Google's two definitions of "knol" says it means "unit of knowledge". This implies "knol" is derived from "knowledge", and should be pronounced accordingly: "nahl".

What do you think?

pronounce

I pronounced it "nohl" not thinking about it as part of the work knowledge as well. I think that's the easiest way to say it and making it "nahl" will be harder to remember. I do see your point though :)
