considers common and applicable to all sectors in which humanitarian agencies may be called upon
to intervene to help disaster-affected populations. Critically discuss these standards and indicators.
2. Discuss the contents of a good "supply chain management logistics" checklist, and show how a
Logistics ERU might apply it in a major flood situation.
3. According to the Kenyan regulatory regime, there are certain issues to be considered, and guidelines
to follow, when conducting an environmental impact assessment of proposed projects, and all these
must be reflected in the project report. Briefly discuss:
(a) The issues identified in the Second Schedule of the relevant regulations
(b) The guidelines specified in the Third Schedule of the regulations
(c) The expected content of the project report.
