If I have correctly understood the purpose of this knol is to collect and sort knols in one place?
The main directory is closed from editing, and all subdirectories are in open collaboration mode.
I would suggest you to improve design for this knol, so now it is not convenient a little. I think it will be better if for each language will be done similar knol.
I may not be able to assemble all knols.
That is why I am thinking of interesting knols and new knols. It may take one more month for me to complete 250 topics. Then I shall try to take the help of persons who know better formating techniques to improve the presentation.
For other languages, I hope somebody or other will take up a similar effort if this initiative is successful. Your comment motivates me as well as many others to take up the effort.

This is not a full directory. Full directory is better implemented through technology and knol platform can do it if they feel it is useful. If they believe search is any day better than directory, they will not develop a full directory.
This directory is only a directory of interesting knols and the basic criterion that I kept is 500 page views per year. Knol authors can include their knol in the appropriate sub-directory. That way it will be a open-collaboration directory and it will expand through the collaboration. I hope so.
If authors feel it is useful and visitors feel it is useful, then it will progress. Vote for its usefulness will come one by one. I thank you once again for your vote.
