Review of 2008 Presidential Election Policy Debates

 

I liked the title that came by default. I want to express my opinion on the knol debate process. It is a good initiative. It will promote Knolstorming and thereby increase of output of knols by knollers. Knolstorming is triggering a knoller to come out with a new knol that reflects the knowledge that he has gained on the topic so far. The stimulus to write the knol has to come from somewhere. When an existing knol does it, it is knolstorming.

 

I already suggested that the knol debate process should encourage knollers to come out with their in response to the initiating knol of the debate as well as the rebuttal knol and these knols are linked to the debate page so that visitors become aware of them and choose to read the knols they would like visit. There needs to be a moderator who will go through all the comments on a debate and all the knols created as a part of the debate and write a summary knol. This summary knol needs to be communicated to the relevant decision makers as well as media. That way the ideas, suggestions and opinions of knol community of knollers and visitors will go the intendened audience for a consideration. This will excite the community members to put in their efforts to evolve a summary knol that reflects their collective opinion.

 

There can be one debating topic for week. The issues can be global, country specific or even region specific. I feel this debate platfrom will take up issues in various fields science, engineering, sociology or social issues, medical issues, educational systems, and others apart from economic and political issues. That way, knowledgeable persons from many walks of life become part of the Knol (knowledge) community initiated by Google innovators.
