Migraine Relief

While there are many different kinds of headaches, tension-type and migraine headaches are the most common. Since these two headache types may be treated differently, determining which type you have is a critical step in relieving the pain. There are other types of headaches which could be due to a tumour, and although this is rare, it is very important for a person to consult a specialist if headaches are persistent to determine the exact cause.

The most common types of headaches are the following:

Tension-type headaches are sometimes called muscle contraction headaches. The pain is usually a dull ache on both sides of the head and has been described as feeling like a tight band across the head.

Sinus headaches usually due to inflammation of sinuses due to cold etc. The pain of a sinus headache is usually over the forehead or behind the eyes and may be painful as you bend over or walk, run etc.

Migraine-type headaches produce moderate to severe pounding or throbbing pain, common on one side of the head. Migraine pain is often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, dizziness and sensitivity to light and/or sounds. It is very important to be accurately diagnosed by a specialist as truly having migraine headaches. Many people diagnose themselves assuming they have migraines but not every headache pain is an actual migraine headache.

The exact cause of migraines is not clearly understood, though experts believe they are due to a combination of the expansion of blood vessels and the release of certain chemicals, which causes inflammation and pain.
The chemicals dopamine and serotonin are among those involved in migraines. These chemicals are found normally in the brain and can cause blood vessels to act abnormally if they are present in abnormal amounts or if the blood vessels are unusually sensitive to them.
Various triggers are thought to bring about migraines in certain people prone to developing them. Different people may have different triggers such as reactions to various foods (ie. chocolate, cheese, monosodium glutamate etc.)
But once a headache begins, it is very difficult to get rid of. There is almost no effective treatment for migraines on the market today, and the suffering can be unbearable, sometimes resulting in a total inability to function. Some people vomit or are unable to eat due to the severity of pain etc.
Our herbal formula brings relief in one and a half hours for classical migraines as described above and is not meant to be effective for other types of headaches.
It is all natural with no known side effects.

Suggested Usage:
Two Capsules at onset of Headache; relief takes affect in 1½ hours. If pain recurs throughout the day, take 2 more capsules, allowing 3 hours to elapse between treatments.
