About the French language

 

French is one of the international languages used throughout the world. After Latin, it was dominant lingua franca of the upperclasses, the nobility and the royalty all over Europe.

French is one of the oldest European language to be thought all over the world. The first to have a published grammar (by an English French teacher wanting to help the noble ladies of his country to cope with the struggle to learn the French language).
