Reto Meier

During the day I'm a software developer with over 10 years experience in GUI application design and development. I got my honours degree in Computer Science at UWA back in 2000, before putting that theory into practice. I spent the first few professional years writing applications for and on offshore oil rigs and support vessels, but since moving to London I've been safely ensconced in big shiny buildings in the Square Mile.

 

These days I'm a Developer Advocate for Google, working with developers to help them create awesome apps for the Android platform. I published my first book, Professional Android Application Development in November of 2009.
