Honey bees have different poducts. In fact they can be called the strangest among all creatures. And of course the most beneficial! Each of their products has unbelievable effects and benefits. Honey itself, if pure, is good in treating many diseases, wounds, and deficiencies.
But here I want to write about Royal Jelly, a real MAGIC of the nature, and the ELIXIR OF LIFE!
Royal Jelly was used in ancient China, as well as Ginseng root, as a medicine. Later it was known in the west, and taken advantage of.
Royal Jelly is a substance secreted from the glands the worker bees have in their heads. It is a white jelly-like stuff that bees feed one larvae with to make her their queen. Eggs are the same, but the kind of food they take makes their sexual abilities, as well as their qualifications, abilities, and lifetime!
It is used, with other substances, to feed all of the larvae existing in the colony. But the larvae chosen to become a queen, is ONLY FED with Royal Jelly!
This causes it to become %42 bigger than worker bees, %60 heavier, and live 6 years while worker bees only live 4-6 weeks. Moreover the queen lays 3000 eggs a day during her life.
Royal Jelly is a magical mixture of beneficial substances. It is a rich source of Protein(12.5%), contains Necessary Amino Acids, Water(67%), high amounts of Fatty Acids(5%), Simple Sugars(11%), and also contains Antibacterial & Antibiotic components, Vitamins (it has almost all kinds of vitamins except Vitamin K), Minerals, and Enzymes.
Phosphorus & Acetyl Colene (which are used as carriers of nervous messages between cellules), and their deficiency prepares human to get Alzheimer’s disease is also found in Royal Jelly. It also contains GAMMA GLUBULINE which strengthens immune system, and is known to have ANTI-CANCER effects.
Different kinds of VIAMIN B (B6, B12, B1, B2, and B5)
It also contains: Magnesium, manganese, iron, sulfur, calcium. The existence of natural hormones like estrogen and growth hormone increase the importance and usefulness of this nature’s magic!
Production & Cultivation:
Bee keepers put movable frames in the hive to produce queen bees. Then the bees gather Royal Jelly in queen’s cell and they collect it when the queen is about four days old. The jelly is gathered in queen’s cell in large amounts, and it is the only place in the hive which Royal Jelly is gathered. It must be cooled immediately after taken from the hive because it is perishable. Then it will be added small amounts of honey and beeswax according to the usage later, and put into capsules or turned into other forms of medicine.
Royal Jelly is also used for curing or improving the patient in these illnesses:
Loss of power, fatigue, skin spots, ageing, unhealthy heart and vessels, high cholesterol and blood pressure, virus and bacterial diseases, menopause and hormone disorder, immune system weakness, Parkinson’s Disease, and Alzheimer’s disease. It also helps a lot in strengthening the nervous system, and solving nervous problems, healing wounds, and lowering inflammations.
Royal Jelly is thought to have benefits for the patients of MS (multiple sclerosis), too, but there is no proof evidence for that yet. I will be thankful if someone finds proof for it and sends to me.
Royal Jelly is sold in the market in different doses of capsules, 250 or 500 mg capsules. 250 mg capsules should be taken one twice a day with meal, and 500 mg capsules should be taken one a day with meal.
It was always thought that HONEY is the magical food of the nature, but Royal Jelly really is a magic. Together with a diet including honey, Royal Jelly may help different diseases and illnesses to heal. And before I forget that, I must note that Royal Jelly has very good effects on anxiety and loss of sleep.
Hope all this interesting information will be useful to you and can help people make their lives better, happier and healthier.
