and my journey to explore, think, introspect and perform began, a journey that is never ending, yet as I crossed milestones after milestones, I realized that it is a journey of finding the truth that I started on and truth is ever so evasive...........

yet, with each step in my journey, many realizations came and went away and then, I felt only a few layers away from the truths of life...........

and then, I felt Liberated

and here am I, penning them (my realizations) down with an open-ness of mind that as those left out layers start getting peeled out during the remaining journey, a few of the beliefs, knowledge bases (emotional and rational knowledge), paradigms and motivation to perform which as of now appear as truths and which I have internalized may change for better and I will be flexible to adopt them too............

I have uncomplicated myself and my life.

I have broken open my shackles.

I do not pretend and do not fake. I wish to live genuinely.

I have learnt to learn, learnt to unlearn and learnt to relearn.

I can observe well.

I can take feedback and analyze it.

I have started knowing myself, who am I and what am I to do in my life.

I have learnt, realized and accepted that while I may and should learn from everyone and everyehere, ultimately I am the sole architect of my life.

I know that I have to play many roles in my life (personal, professional, spouse, parent, son etc) and should become effective in each one.

To me success is playing all these roles correctly and effectively. That gives me happiness.

I define my success criteria and I continuously improve my knowledge and insights so that I can choose these criteria of success more and more correctly, dynamically. I redefine them if need be.

Success to me need not have to necessarily bring in publicity, celebrity status, a great corporate title, powerful position in the affairs of state, media notoriety, public prize/reward/recognition or great reputation certified by other people.

I keep checking my achievements and actions against the success criteria laid down by me and if I fall short, I strive to improve. I do not need other people, institutions and media to judge my success and happiness.

I do not suffer from approval addiction (approval by others, by people in so called power or by people in media or by moneyed people or by general public etc).

I do not believe in titles and designations (given by others). Work can be done irrespective of these. Work is my choice.

I am not in competition with any one (if at all, I am in competition with myself since I wish to improve every day with reference to what I was yesterday). I do look at everyone and everything all around me to learn to improve.

Also, I do not compete for all kinds of awards all over the world. I find them vulgar display of vanity with ulterior motivation.I do not allow people to jugde me as number 1, number 2 or number 10 or more or in any other way.....).

I know that my effectiveness and efficiency in each of my roles depend on my values, knowledge (emotional, rational and spiritual knowledge- nothing to do with gods or organized religions), paradigms and enthusiasm to do.

I am continuously upgrading my values, knowledge, paradigms and will to do and also weeding out obsoletes and viruses in these.

because

I have decided to use my talents to the maximum: my values, knowledge, paradigms and internal motivation to perform.

I know that values should not be confused with paradigms. Values are basic truths (not ordinarily changeable) and paradigms are day to day thinking patterns (changeable).

I realize that values, paradigms, knowledge and internal motivation for implementation give me direction to proceed on the correct path. Therefore, they should be correct.

Since to be effective and efficient, I have to have correct values, knowledge, paradigms and internal motivation, I am always on look out for the correct ones as my routine activity.

I believe in one simple principle: "Feel, think and do good for self and others".

I am not a party to any one religion of the many hundred religions available on earth today. Yet, I follow the common essence of all of them and it cannot be any thing other than the one simple principle that I have articulated for myself i.e. "Feel, think and do good for self and others". That's my religion if I have to use the word religion at all.

I believe in and belong to only one "religion*" and that is "Humanity". (* if "religion" is the word I should use; organized religions, to me, conceptually, are otherwise obsolete).

I have realized that "Humanity" is beyond all the existing religious, racial, ethnic, language, political and gender differences.

I know that if I have to choose only one thing from patriotism, religious/racial/ethnic/language/gender alliances and humanity, I will choose "Humanity".

I always believe in the concept of "boundaryless one world" on planet earth with "zero wars" and "zero hatred".

I think that wars/battles among nations/varieties of groups/varieties of organizations are foolish and debased past time of very few selfish people on earth and they kill people in military and civilian life under garb of patriotism and defence and religious or any other kind of fanaticism.

Wars and hatred have become obsolete paradigms for me; I believe that civilized negotiations can provide all the solutions.

I have developed the conviction in me that wars being destructive for every human being, everyone should shun them.

I believe that for achieving lasting peace on earth, every human being needs to be given good education so that he becomes capable of earning money by being busy in professional activities and does not remain poor. Non availability of education and jobs and being poor are the fundamental reasons for envy, revenge, rifts, battles and wars.

I believe that human beings (real, fictitious, mythological) cannot be Gods. One human being is not superior to others.

I think that since as of today, God is a concept needed by many people; let us define it properly; should not remain a reason for rifts as it is now and as it has been for un-known years.

I believe that God should be defined as those ultimate energies, forces and rules that keep the universe regulated and sustained.

My understanding that if God is defined as energies, forces and rules, it has to be one set of those for all the human beings. So, there is only one God for everyone.

I accept God as energies, forces and rules, they exist all around us, all the time, every where. So, I do not feel the need to frequent temples, churches, mosques, synagogues, gurudwras etc.

I do not give permission to be controlled and dictated by any so called political, religious, corporate or any other types of leaders.

I do not put any one on the pedestal. So, I do not have and do not imitate any role models, I do not hero-worship. Yet, I am open to learn from everyone.

I am not awed or impressed by the media hyped celebrities or rich or famous who are regularly publicized by the commercial setups for their mutual benefits.

I do not fear any one.

I am guided by my and others' thinking and analysis and my values and I am willing to accept the outcomes of my actions. I blame no one in adversities.

I accept laws of the land (democratically made) and my conscience.

I believe in human rights. Every human being has a right to live with dignity on earth.

I know that I belong to this planet earth and I have freedom to move to any part of the planet and live there.

I believe in equal rights for all, special privileges for none.

I believe that none should persecute anybody.

I believe in absoluteness. I do not compare my lot with that of others. Yet, I like to work to improve it.

Failure, if any, does not reduce my enthusiasm to achieve. I look at it positively and try to do the next best thing.

Few odd setbacks in life do not matter much. One can always catch up.

I do not brood over the failure over unduly long period. I get over with it soon and then, move on.

I realize that to fret over any thing, for that matter, is waste of time and energy.

I never indulge in self-pity.

I take only calulated risks (i.e. I do not take risks) and so the chances of failure are minimum.

Yet, I do look out for opportunities all the time and my possible contributions in them. If I don't, I will miss out on all of them

I start with the end in mind. Then, the steps taken towards destination are more correct.

I have learnt to check and correct the direction towards my destination early on, if I chose the wrong one. I examine my paradigms constantly and correct them if needed.

Once I choose my destination (objective) and it is correct, I enjoy the journey (process) fully (I do not worry about the destination all the time).

I set the goals for all my roles: personal, professional, family, social.

I set the goals on all the important matters first and leave out the trivia.

I write down my goals (and do not keep them just in my mind).

I use my time only on those activities that lead me to my goals and do not waste my time on other activities.

I do not lose control on my money or give control over my money to others.

Lazying around and whiling away time are not luxury to me, being meaningfully active is.

I believe that inactivity makes one tired and ultimately old much earlier and why should I become one. So, I work.
