My computer was back in the shop again for repairs. After paying over $157. 25 to have my computer back in working order, my technician, Robert, said that with proper care and maintenance, I could avoid costly repairs in many instances.
Robert was not just the technician that worked at this computer repair shop. He was, in fact, the owner, and had been working in the computer industry for over 37 years.
Robert knows computers.

Computer maintenance is just as necessary as flossing and brushing your teeth on a regular and daily basis.

Along with cleaning your temporary Internet files, you need to use a registry cleaner every day. When your computer starts to slow down or even begins to crash, one of the first things I suspect is the registry file.
What happens often to uninformed computer users is that they surf the Internet without cleaning out their registry files for months Their computers slow down or even crash frequently.
For example, some seniors are not that savvy when it comes to computers, and they use their computers for months without ever cleaning the registry files. When their computers start to crash, they believe they need a new computer. All they really need, in some cases, is to clean their registry files regularly.

For example, if you sign into your Knol with your Google account, and then use the CCleaner, you may have to sign into the Knol again when you want to use it. If you use the CCleaner before you start your day's work on the computer, you will not have this difficulty because you will not erasing your passwords.
These simple steps should usually take less than 1 minute per day to ensure that your computer is running optimally for your tasks.
Computer Internet Search Protection:
Any site that you click on has the potential for adware that may play havoic with your computer. If you experience a pop-up-advertisement, the only safe protocal is to hit "Alt and F4" at the same time to safely remove the downloading of any adware programs.
If you delete the pop-up in any othe way, you automatically download the adware to your computer. You cannot close the program or use Task Manger to remove the the unwanted pop-up. These actions will download the adware on to your computer.
Your anti-virus protection is useless with this kind of adware because you are willingly clicking on the website. Furthermore, the adware will now be downloaed to your computer with a virus, and your anti-virus program will not recognize the adware.
Remember: Any website, email, etc that you click has the potential to download adware without protection from you anti-virus program. Be very extremely careful which Internet sites you visit.
