As an AK Practitioner, I am delighted to see a very fair, informative and researched description of Applied Kinesiology now on the web. Until very recently the main source of web information for interested patients of AK practitioners were reports authored by cynics who listed numerous bizarre claims in an attempt to discredit the profession. Applied Kinesiology Practitioners are first Health Professionals who have studied at least 4000 hours to obtain their degree, masters or higher, in Chiropractic, Medicine, Osteopathy, or Dentistry. Only then, are they eligible to begin the study of Applied Kinesiology. It is a technique that allows a practitioner to give a patient a thorough examination that covers knowledge in many fields (neurology, nutrition, acupuncture, reflexes, etc) as discussed in Dr Cuthbert's review. Because of the fullness of the examination it makes AK a complex technique that can take years to master. All practitioners who take on Applied Kinesiology are dedicated, and disciplined, and are driven by their passion for helping people resolve their health concerns.
I congratulate Dr Scott on an excellent review.
