Do you have a business website that contains your home address on it?
You might want to check out your address on Google Maps and see if your house is included in Google’s “Street View”. If yes, you might want to take a critical look at your house and your neighborhood and consider how a prospective client might view what they are seeing.
This weekend, I was at a local professional services website that I’d been to before and noticed a new address which I could tell was a home. I plugged the home into Street View and though the house in question was pretty decent, the neighborhood didn’t photograph particularly well that day. Their neighbor across the street from the listed address had a very shabby house and a totally brown lawn. My impression of their neighborhood wasn’t particularly good and were very much at odds with trying to make a good impression in selling premium-priced professional services.
